A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information launch from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Trustworthy geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay at the park, and so they have injured extra people than any other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and different accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks had been additionally close to the animal when it gored the girl, the park said. The discharge didn’t say in the event that they were injured.
