DALLAS - A 15-year-old girl from North Richland Hills is now home after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airways Middle. But the household still seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly sufficient relating to the crime, which had the girl as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry mentioned. “Our intent is that manner (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims towards them for his or her negligence and other causes of motion.''

Fortenberry stated the teenager’s father knowledgeable police on the recreation when he realized she was lacking. But, in keeping with the lawyer, the daddy was advised to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police stated they weren’t in a position to assist because the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking company Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to find the lacking girl, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.

Dallas Police informed WFAA that they followed protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the girl was found, the group releasing the next assertion: “The American Airlines Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Both entities will proceed to cooperate with native and regional law enforcement on this case.''
