Investigators believe Mtula Payton was one of many alleged gang members who opened fireplace in downtown Sacramento on April 3. He was taken into custody at an house complicated, the Sacramento Police Division mentioned in an announcement Saturday night time.

“Las Vegas Metro Police Division labored with our detectives for weeks in an effort to find Payton,” the statement stated.

Payton and two others, brothers Smiley Martin and Dandrae Martin, were charged this month with homicide within the slayings, in addition to weapons offenses.
