Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials mentioned.
