Apple has discontinued the iPod, 20 years after it was launched.
The US tech big stated its iconic music participant has been changed by different devices, making the iPod redundant.
Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice-president of worldwide marketing, mentioned: "Right this moment, the spirit of iPod lives on.
"We have built-in an unimaginable music expertise throughout all of our products, from the iPhone to the Apple Watch to HomePod mini, and throughout Mac, iPad, and Apple TV.
"And Apple Music delivers industry-leading sound high quality with assist for spatial audio - there isn't any better option to take pleasure in, discover, and experience music."
In October 2001, Steve Jobs debuted the original iPod and it was the primary MP3 participant that would maintain 1,000 songs and had a 10-hour battery life.
