Household of Abducted Lady Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now dwelling after being kidnapped by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airlines Heart. But the family still seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly sufficient regarding the crime, which had the woman as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a complete of 11 days,” lawyer Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that method (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims towards them for their negligence and other causes of action.''

Fortenberry stated the teen’s father informed police on the recreation when he realized she was missing. However, in line with the legal professional, the daddy was advised to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police stated they weren’t able to assist because the incident occurred in Dallas.

The lawyer said it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that labored to find the lacking girl, who was being held in an Oklahoma City motel.

Dallas Police instructed WFAA that they followed protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD within the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the girl was found, the group releasing the following statement: “The American Airways Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been discovered.Each entities will continue to cooperate with local and regional legislation enforcement on this case.''
