Over 800 WhiteHat Jr workers have resigned from the children on-line coding studying edtech start-up in the last two months after being requested to work from office.

This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, asked its staff to return to office within a month’s time, according to an Inc42 report.

On March 18, the company announced the coverage to finish make money working from home and requested remote staff to return to workplace by April 18.

The resignations came from full-time staff of the sales, coding, and math groups. More staff are anticipated to place down their papers in the coming months.

One of the employees who resigned informed the website that a month’s time was not enough for relocation. “Some have kids, some have aged and sick dad and mom, whereas others produce other obligations. It isn't right to call back employees in such a brief period of time,” the previous WhiteHat Jr employee mentioned.
