The household of an 11-year-old lady who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the capturing.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and he or she was simply crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I feel all the things came to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of the two teachers killed. Her mates and classmates were also targeted.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah bought some blood and put it on herself so she could fake she was useless," stated Rivera. "It's an excessive amount of for me to play that scene over and over, but that's what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she noticed her friend filled with blood and she or he acquired blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been released.

"My brother mentioned she had bullet fragments in her back," mentioned Rivera.

Rivera, a mother of three, stated the family is rallying round Miah to help her get well physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we simply have to pray and ask God to assist us transfer forward by means of this case, I know it's traumatizing as it's," said Rivera.

Nearly everybody in the city of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of someone within the mass capturing at Robb Elementary School, residents are supporting each other as they start coping with the tragedy.
